Video production

We film, edit and animate in-house, in the same place the brand is made. That means the film does not look like it was made by someone other than the rest.

01

What we film

Not every problem is solved by the same kind of video. The first question is not what we film, but where it ends up and what the viewer has to do after seeing it.

  • Product video: the product front and centre, for the online store and for ads. Shot under control, in the studio or on a built set.
  • Brand video: the film that says who you are. It lives on the homepage and in presentations.
  • Motion design: movement over what you already have, from a label coming alive to an animated logo.
  • Product photography: often on the same day and the same set as the shoot.
02

Why it matters that it is made in the same place as the brand

When the brand and the film are made in different places, it shows. The colours are not the same, the typography in the titles does not match the packaging, the rhythm of the edit has nothing to do with how the brand speaks elsewhere.

Here, the person who makes the visual identity and the person who edits sit in the same team. It is not a matter of org charts but of results: there is no need to explain to an outside production what the brand looks like, because we built it.

The practical side effect is that we can shoot things that did not exist yet at the time of filming, such as packaging that only goes into production two months later.

How we work

1
Kick-off call

Where the material is seen, who it addresses and what the viewer has to do afterwards. The format comes out of that.

2
Concept and script

We show you on paper what happens in every shot, before the first hour of filming is spent.

3
Preparation

Location, light, props, schedule. This decides whether the shoot day is calm or not.

4
Shoot

Photography included, if it is part of the project. One set, two deliverables.

5
Edit and colour

The first cut, one big round of feedback, then the finish: sound, colour, text.

6
Delivery by format

Horizontal, vertical, short and long, depending on where it is used.

04

What we have filmed

At GO Labs we did the product photography and video in the same project as the packaging. At Black Sea Horses, the film and the photos went together with the brand. At Crama Rasova, the labels were animated after we had drawn them ourselves.

Frequently asked questions

It depends almost entirely on how many shoot days it needs and how many people appear on camera. A product video shot in a day and a brand film with locations and actors are not comparable. Once you tell us where you will use it and how long it has to be, you get a quote with everything it includes.

The practical rule: preparation and editing take longer than filming. One shoot day usually means a few days of preparation before and one to two weeks of editing after, depending on how many versions and how many languages you need.

Yes, and they are decided before the shoot, not after. A shot framed only for horizontal does not crop nicely to vertical. When we know from the start that you also need vertical, we leave room in the frame for it.

Yes, and often on the same day as the shoot, on the same set. That is how we worked on GO Labs: product photography and video in the same project. It comes out cheaper than two separate productions and, more importantly, the photos and the film look like they come from the same place.

We handle it and tell you exactly which licence each track sits on, so you know where you are allowed to use the material. It is a boring conversation until the day somebody takes your ad off a platform.

The edited material in the agreed formats, plus the raw files if you want them. Nothing stays with us to force you to come back. If in a year you want a new version from the same material, you can make it with anyone.
