Building a visual identity

Visual identity is everything visible about your brand: logo, colours, typography, graphic elements and the way the photography looks. We build the whole system, so every material looks like it came from the same company.

01

What it contains
a visual system

The logo is only the beginning. The system is what makes a brand recognisable before you read the name.

When a company has only a logo, every new material is invented from scratch. With a system, any post, quote or package starts from the same rules and is recognised instantly.

  • The logo and its variants: for any context of use
  • Colour palette: with exact codes, for print and digital
  • Typography: the fonts, the hierarchy and the rules for combining them
  • Graphic elements: patterns, icons, supporting textures
  • Image direction: what kind of photography suits the brand

How it works
in practice

A system that stays inside a file helps nobody.

That is why every identity ends with a brand book: the usage rules, the "do this" and "not this" examples, plus applications on the real materials the company needs.

And if the brand also needs a website, an online store or video content, we build those too, from the same visual direction. Nothing is lost handing over between different companies.

Frequently asked questions

The logo is the mark. The visual identity is the system around it: colours, typography, graphic elements, image direction and the rules that keep them coherent. With a logo alone, every new material looks different.

The price is built to measure, for each client separately. We do not work with fixed packages, because brands are not alike either. After the first call you get a clear quote with everything it includes and no hidden costs.

A complete brand usually takes 2–3 weeks. Brand plus website: 5–7 weeks. Projects with applications or e-commerce: 8–12 weeks. We set the exact deadline after the first call.

Yes. Every identity ships with a brand book: logo rules, clear space, mistakes to avoid and real applications. That way someone outside the team can work with the brand correctly too.

We can build the system around the existing logo, if it is solid enough. If it does not hold up in real use, we tell you straight and propose a rebrand.
